Rainbow Biomes were oddly colored and shaded biomes that appeared in the Pocket Edition from 0.9.0 to 0.9.5. The biome glitch occured most commonly in Savannah and Plains biomes. The glitched biome consisted of colored patterns that were colored incorrectly and often created lag when entering the biome.

- Was present in PocketEdition from 0.9 to 0.9.4 and was fixed in 0.9.5.
- The Rainbow Biome glitch reappeared in multiplayer worlds during the 0.12 beta stages.
